Offkey Media Launches Mobscenity™ on Kickstarter

Adult Card Games Making Big Waves in Board Game Industry

BELLEVUE, Wash., Jan. 07, 2014 -- On the heels of the success of Cards Against Humanity™, new party games for adults have been hitting the shelves in growing numbers. The latest game to join that craze is Mobscenity, a word game for four or more people where players are challenged to be as wacky and as crude as possible.

Every round of Mobscenity, the round's "Master" picks two innocent words from their hand to create a Mobscenity Phrase (e.g., "The Chocolate Otter," "Captain Wand," etc.). Each player then tries to come up with the most outrageous definition for the phrase and then use it in a sentence. The Master picks their favorite response and the winning player gets a point.

"We wanted to create a game that appealed to people who enjoy both word games like Dictionary and sites like Urban Dictionary®," says Fred Clarke, creator of Mobscenity. "Our game provides an opportunity for people to let loose and say shocking things - the results so far have been hilarious."

People who contribute to the Mobscenity Kickstarter project can choose from a series of rewards, including a First Edition version of the game, unique booster packs, and the ability to define a new game variation. The Mobscenity Kickstarter campaign will run through January 24, 2014 and can be found at: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/offkey/mobscenity-the-totally-up-party-game.
