DESIRE Society, a non- profit voluntary organization is actively engaged in serving HIV+ children's cause in India since 2005. With last year 21stDecember, DESIRE Society has completed its 8 years old and entered in 9th year of its significant services in the area of children suffering with HIV/AIDS in India.  A movement that began in Hyderabad has now spread its wings to other cities including Bangalore, Mumbai and Visakhapatnam with an aim of no child to be neglected with HIV/AIDS in India by reaching strength about 800 children through Institutional Care Homes and community outreach services. DESIRE Society is been committed to serve these unfortunate and underprivileged children irrespective of caste, religion, race, color, gender and economic status. "The growing number of children within care home facilities has become a great challenge for us now in terms of their life expansion, treatment, education and overall nurture. Yet, I am sure to say that the organization shall stand up to comprehensive self-sustainability of these children. DESIRE wishes to see and support that all the children under its umbrella should pursue higher education till they can avail better job opportunity for their self-economic growth. But further life span of these kids has always a big question mark as we do not have a permanent cure for HIV/AIDS so far. Still, we at DESIRE Society are optimistic about cure for HIV in near future and we would like to continue with increased facilities for all the children enrolled with us within the available resources. On the other hand DESIRE is also in contact with concern institutions to initiate job oriented vocational training programs for the young and older children who are physically active," said Mr Ravi from Desire Society.

To accomplish this noble task, DESIRE Society welcomes likeminded people to be part of it while joining with us as donors, volunteers and friends of HIV+ children in India.  "Right to live and every child on this earth should have full life potentiality" is the motto behind this drive in making supporters to outreach for over -all HIV children's development issues at large.
