Writer & Director Daimon Glenn and Team Launch Indiegogo Fundraiser for "the Jennifer Doll", a Film Based on the True Life Story of an Autistic Girl

New York, NY (ABNewswire) July 11, 2013 - This is a film based on the true-life story of an autistic girl who was misdiagnosed as crazy. Jennifer was assumed to be unaware of her surroundings; in turn she was taken advantage of. She began to think of herself as a doll that was not in control of herself, to be moved around and handled by others as they pleased.

Daimon Glenn was born and raised in Baltimore, home of "The Wire", hit TV show. He moved to NYC and studied at the Digital Film Academy, where he learned Directing, Screenwriting, and other filmmaking skills. He made and worked on many films which were accepted and shown at film festivals in the US, and over-seas. Daimon then started his own production company, which has produced many projects, some of which were pilots for major TV networks.

This campaign is very important to Daimon Glenn. This is his chance to tell a story that is actually meaningful, and has a positive message. There are only a few movies about people with Autism. This will be the first one that is done from the perspective of a person with autism, using the person that the story is about as an actual advisor and consultant.

The amount of funding needed to achieve this goal is $250,000. This will give the production team the money to afford the star level actors needed to make this movie a success. This campaign will receive all of the funds contributed by Mon 05 Aug 11:59PM PT.
