Spire Architecture Celebrates Completion of A Research And Development Facility For A Multi-National Corporation

Combe Incorporated, makers of such Brands as Vagasil and Sea Bond Denture Adhesive, chose Spire Architecture for their unique ability to blend functional design with sustainable concepts.

MILLBROOK, NEW YORK, July 29, 2013, The team over at Spire Architecture & Design, in Millbrook, New York, is celebrating the successful completion of an R&D facility for the multi-national Combe Corporation, located in White Plains, NY. The project consisted of transforming 1,500 sq. ft. of a former mail room and storage space, into a state-of-the-art R&D laboratory for use in developing new products, such as their flagship products Vagasil and Sea Bond Denture Adhesive. The Combe Corporation is anxious to put the new facility to use in expanding and improving their product lines.

Spire Architecture has advanced the theory of a "New Minimalism", which a company spokesperson describes as a concept that was created to maximize the quality of life while minimizing energy costs, the impact on the environment and stresses of life.He goes on to explain: "We view design as more than simply an exercise in aesthetics. Spire has developed a Blueprint for a way of life, one that displays a broader vision, encompassing all of the elements of social responsibility, lifestyle and economics."

The Spire philosophy is evident in each of their projects, whether they are large or small, and apply equally to: homes, schools, offices, libraries and other structures that they are called upon to design. Within Spire Architecture is the belief that there is a disciplined relationship between form and function, keeping in mind that "Less Is Often More". The entire Spire Team is committed to the absolute minimal use of fossil fuel energy, and conformance with the environment.
