Elite Marketer 'Settles The Debate' Surrounding The GFX Apocalypse Graphics Package

YouTube will be launching an updated version of TrueView video ads in April 2014. These ads will offer advertisers an easy and efficient way to reach a wide audience without having to spend a fortune. Google has been working hard to refine and improve TrueView ads over the last few months, and this latest update will add a slew of targeting options to the TrueView system. For more information one may read the WarriorForum.com - GFX Apocalypse Review thread.

In a previous update, Google removed in-slate ads in videos that were longer than ten minutes, and it is now due to reduce the number of ad formats offered to just two - removing TrueView in-search ads and rolling them up with the thumbnail ad option. The other ad format, TrueView in-display, which is shown in lists of suggested videos, will be kept. Both in-search and in-display ad formats can use the same creatives, the only difference is where on the page the ads will be displayed. More information can be see on the Facebook.com - GFX Apocalypse Review Fanpage.

In-display thumbnail advertisements will be shown in the suggested videos list, both in search results and in the right rail. These advertisements will be charged for on a cost-per-view basis. The in-stream advertisements will be shown as pre-roll on YouTube videos, and viewers will be given the option to skip the ad after watching the first few seconds. There will be some improved targeting options for these ads as of April 15. By watching the YouTube.com - GFX Apocalypse Review video, one may get further insights.

Google will allow advertisers to select a network that the ads appears on (such as YouTube videos, the YouTube search results, or Google's Display Network) at the campaign level instead of having to set it for each individual ad. Advertisers can also pick keywords, interests, remarketing lists, demographics and topics as targeting options on their advertisements, narrowing the group to which their advertisements will be displayed.
