Shaw moved to Jacksonville from Alexander City, Ala. after attending Auburn University. He spent three years in a sales environment where he learned to build strong customer relationships and referral networks. When he became a senior financial consultant at Gulf Coast Financial, he applied his acquired skills and customer experience to develop a more consultative approach to sales, which earned him a top sales position and raving customer reviews.
Prior to coming to Bayway Mortgage Group, Shaw was part of PHH Mortgage’s loan originating team. After growing his knowledge of the mortgage products, he became the company’s loan originating expert.
After working for large corporate lenders, Shaw was missing the personal relationships with his clients and left his position at PHH Mortgage to join a company with a strong client-first mentality.
